Tim established Tim Doe Kitchens in 1985.

Tim's interest in wood began some years earlier whilst attending a Green Woodworking course.
"The objective for the week was to make a chair using traditional techniques. By the end of the week, the Ash had been 'pole lathed' and turned into legs and spindles, the Elm adzed out for the seat and finally we steam bent the back rail".
My interest in wood had become a passion!

On route to setting up his own business Tim honed his skills working as a boat builder in The Hamble, followed by a spell making furniture for a cabinet maker in Buckfastleigh, South Devon.

Today Tim Doe Kitchens employ a team of talented cabinet makers and produce beautifully crafted contemporary and traditional design kitchens and freestanding furniture.

"My ideas and designs are influenced by various factors, but the most important first stage is to talk in depth with prospective customers to find out as much as I can about what they need and what they would like within their living space and the style of furniture that influences them."

At our initial meeting we establish your various requirements, your likes and dislikes and how we might make best use of the space. With years of experience and innovative design solutions we will help you maximise your space by designing a kitchen that is as practical as it is beautiful.

Having measured up we will then give you an over head plan of the kitchen with an approximate idea of the cost which is dependant on a number of factors, materials, size of kitchen, the number of cabinets to be made and the finish required.
